Beyond fashion we care for our community we reach out to the children and also the aged people

I can’t put into words the joy we felt in our hearts last weekend as we celebrated Easter with the beautiful people of Makoko. I’m certain that most of you have to consult google maps for that location. LOL. Most people don’t know where that is located in Lagos.

Makoko is a squalid locality located on the mainland, by the Third mainland bridge. It is described as the “Venice of Africa”. A floating community that is a home to over 250,000 people. Their huts as houses are built on water and surrounded by garbage – those huts you see while descending from the bridge and you try to figure if people really live there.

It is a constant that the poor, we will always have amongst us and anytime we want to we can help them. Just beside any great and wealthy city in the world lies a poor settlement. The Mobos fashion family all trooped in there to wine and dine with them in celebration of the love our Lord. The hope and love we showed to the people of Makoko brought tears to my eyes.
